Privacy Policy

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy explains how Pehly Parkho ("Pehly Parkho", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains personal information when you visit pehlyparkho.com (the "Site"), create an account, submit content, contact us, or use our services.

Pehly Parkho is operated from Pakistan and is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. You can reach us at pehlyparkho@gmail.com.

By using the Site you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

2. Information we collect

Account data. Display name, email address, authentication identifier, profile image, and account status. When you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address, and profile picture (see Section 4).

Content and contribution data. Reviews, ratings, company suggestions, votes, poll responses, reports, uploaded images, replies, and related metadata such as timestamps.

Contact and legal-notice data. Identity details, authority to act, correspondence, evidence, disputed URLs, and requested remedies that you send us through the contact form, by email, or in a complaint or legal notice.

Technical and usage data. IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, pages viewed, referral sources, interactions, diagnostics, and security events. This may be collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 9).

Information from service providers or public sources. Where necessary to operate listings, prevent fraud, or respond to lawful requests, we may use information from our service providers or from publicly available sources.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data (such as health, religion, or government ID numbers). Please do not include them in your submissions.

3. How and why we use information

We use personal information to:

• provide authentication, accounts, profiles, reviews, ratings, search, polls, contact, and support features;
• publish the display information and contributions you choose to make public;
• moderate content, investigate complaints, detect and prevent fake or fraudulent reviews, protect security, and enforce our policies and Terms of Service;
• calculate rankings and platform statistics, improve usability, and understand service performance;
• display, deliver, and measure advertising and sponsored content, and keep the Site free to use (see Section 9);
• communicate with you about your account, reports, legal notices, and service changes; and
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and comply with binding legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performing our service to you, our legitimate interests in running a safe and trustworthy review platform, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it.

4. Google user data and Limited Use

When you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address, and profile picture through Google Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication). We use this information solely to authenticate you, create and manage your account, and display your chosen profile information alongside your reviews.

Pehly Parkho's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In particular:

• we do not sell Google user data;
• we do not use Google user data for advertising, including personalized or retargeted advertising;
• we do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features of the Site, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to users; and
• we do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and used for internal operations.

Information received through Google Sign-In is kept separate from advertising. Advertising partners collect their own data through cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 9; we do not give them your Google account information.

You can revoke Pehly Parkho's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

5. Service providers

We use service providers to operate the platform. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices:

• Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) for sign-in, account records, and data storage;
• Cloudinary for storing and delivering uploaded images;
• Vercel for hosting and delivering the Site;
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics and user-experience diagnostics; and
• Resend for delivering email sent through the contact form and service messages; and
• Advertising partners, such as Google AdSense or Google Ad Manager and similar ad networks, if and when we enable advertising on the Site (see Section 9).

We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising partners may collect data directly from your browser through cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 9. We share information with our other providers only as needed to run the Site, with others as described in Section 7, or as required by law.

6. Public content

Reviews, ratings, selected profile details (such as display name and profile image), uploaded review images, and other contributions may be public and indexed by search engines. Once content is public, others may copy or share it, and we cannot control copies made outside the Site.

You are responsible for what you post. Deleting an account may not immediately remove lawful public records, quoted material, backups, moderation evidence, or content we must retain (see Section 10).

7. Disclosure

We may disclose personal information:

• to service providers that help us operate and secure the platform;
• to users or businesses where reasonably necessary to investigate a complaint, while considering privacy and safety;
• to courts, regulators, law-enforcement, or other authorities where we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is needed to protect rights, safety, or property;
• to professional advisers (such as lawyers and accountants) under confidentiality; and
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, in which case we will take reasonable steps to protect your information and notify you of material changes.

8. International transfers

Our service providers, including Google, Cloudinary, Vercel, Microsoft, and Resend, may store and process data on servers outside Pakistan. By using the Site you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries, which may have different data-protection laws. We take reasonable steps to ensure our providers protect your information appropriately.

9. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Essential cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and protecting the Site.

Analytics. Together with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, we use cookies to understand how the Site is used and to improve it. Microsoft Clarity may capture how you interact with pages (for example clicks, scrolling, and page views). We aim to mask sensitive input fields.

Advertising. We may display advertisements on the Site to fund its operation, including ads served by third-party advertising partners such as Google. These partners, including Google as a third-party vendor, use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure ad performance. They may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and ad interactions.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our Site and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or www.aboutads.info. You can also learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Where required by law (for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies or personalized advertising, and you can change your choice at any time.

Advertising does not affect reviews. Advertising, sponsorships, and paid placements do not influence reviews, ratings, or rankings on Pehly Parkho. Sponsored or paid content is clearly labelled. We do not use Google user data received through Google Sign-In for advertising.

Your controls. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out tools. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. Third parties' use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

10. Data retention

• Account data is kept while your account is active.
• After deletion, we remove or anonymize personal account data within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep certain information.
• Public reviews and related records may be retained, in anonymized or de-identified form where practical, where needed for lawful purposes, moderation evidence, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or backups.
• Contact, complaint, and legal-notice records are kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and to protect our legal position.
• Technical logs and analytics data are kept only as long as necessary for security, diagnostics, and service improvement.

We may keep information longer where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

11. Your rights and choices

You may request to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your account and personal information, subject to Section 10;
• object to or restrict certain processing; and
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To make a request, email pehlyparkho@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable time (generally within 30 days). If we cannot fully act on a request, we will explain why. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities where the law requires.

13. Children's privacy

Pehly Parkho is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at pehlyparkho@gmail.com and we will delete it. We do not knowingly serve personalized advertising to children. Where local law sets a higher age of digital consent, users must meet that age to use the Site.

14. Third-party links

The Site may link to websites and services we do not control, including company websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

15. Legal notices and complaints

If you believe content on the Site is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes your rights, contact us at pehlyparkho@gmail.com with your identity, the disputed URLs, the reason for your complaint, and the remedy you request. We may review, remove, or restrict content, and we may share necessary details with the parties involved as described in Section 7.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.

17. Governing law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without affecting any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your own country.
