Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Pehly Parkho ("Pehly Parkho", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of pehlyparkho.com and related services (the "Site").

By creating an account, signing in (including with Google), submitting content, or otherwise using the Site, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What Pehly Parkho is

Pehly Parkho is a community review platform where people share their personal experiences and opinions about companies, brands, products, and services, and can check reviews before buying. We are an online venue. We do not sell the products or services reviewed, we are not a party to any transaction between users and businesses, and we do not verify every statement made by users.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and post content. Users between 13 and 17 may use the Site only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf. The Site is not intended for children under 13.

You confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you are legally able to enter this agreement.

4. Your account

• You can sign in using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• Tell us promptly at pehlyparkho@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
• You may hold only one personal account. Do not create accounts to mislead others or to evade a restriction.
• We may suspend or remove accounts as described in Section 12.

5. Your content and licence to us

"Your Content" means reviews, ratings, comments, replies, votes, poll responses, company suggestions, images, reports, and anything else you submit.

• You own Your Content, but by submitting it you grant Pehly Parkho a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, adapt (for example resizing images or formatting), distribute, and make Your Content available on and through the Site and related promotion of the Site, including to search engines. This licence continues for a reasonable period after deletion for backups, legal, and moderation purposes.
• You confirm that you have the right to submit Your Content and to grant this licence, and that it does not violate any law or anyone's rights.
• Your display name and profile image (from your account) may be shown with Your Content.
• Public content may be copied or shared by others, and we cannot control that.

6. Rules for reviews and conduct

Reviews must be honest and based on your own genuine experience. You agree that you will not:

• post fake, paid, incentivised, or coordinated reviews, or review your own business, a competitor, or a business you have a personal or financial relationship with, without clearly disclosing that relationship;
• offer or accept payment, free products, or other benefits in exchange for a review, or to remove or change a review, unless clearly permitted and disclosed;
• post false statements of fact, defamation, or content intended to damage a person or business unfairly;
• post hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or discrimination;
• post private or sensitive information of others (such as phone numbers, addresses, CNIC or ID numbers, financial details) or share private communications without permission;
• post sexually explicit, obscene, or unlawful content, or content involving minors in any harmful way;
• post spam, advertising, links to malicious sites, or content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights;
• use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access, copy, or collect data from the Site, or to post or manipulate votes, ratings, or polls;
• attempt to hack, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Site or its security, or bypass any restriction;
• impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation; or
• use the Site in violation of any applicable law, including the laws of Pakistan.

Reviews should describe facts and opinions honestly. Statements of opinion should be identifiable as opinion, and statements of fact should be true and based on your own experience.

7. Moderation and reports

We may, but are not obliged to, review, edit for format, remove, restrict, or refuse any content or account at our discretion, including where we believe it breaks these Terms, is unlawful, or harms the platform or others. We use a mix of automated and manual checks to detect fake reviews and fraud.

Anyone may report content or file a complaint at pehlyparkho@gmail.com. Please provide your identity, the disputed URL, the reason, and the remedy you request. We may share necessary details of a complaint with the parties involved, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not a court and do not decide legal disputes between users and businesses.

8. Businesses and company pages

Businesses may be listed on the Site based on user suggestions or public information. A listing is not an endorsement, and it does not mean the business has any relationship with Pehly Parkho unless clearly stated. Businesses may not pay to remove, alter, or suppress genuine reviews. Where a business responds to a review, its response must be honest and comply with these Terms.

9. Advertising, sponsored content, and third-party links

• We may display advertisements and sponsored content on the Site, including ads served by third parties such as Google. Advertising is described in our Privacy Policy.
• Advertising, sponsorship, or paid placements do not influence reviews, ratings, or rankings, and sponsored content is clearly labelled.
• The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices, and you use them at your own risk. Any dealings with advertisers or businesses are solely between you and them.

10. Intellectual property

The Site's design, logo, name, software, and content we create (excluding Your Content and third-party content) belong to Pehly Parkho or its licensors and are protected by law. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms. You may not copy, sell, or exploit the Site or its content, or use the name "Pehly Parkho" or our logo, without our written permission.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright or other rights, email pehlyparkho@gmail.com with your details, a description of the work, the URL of the content, and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act. We may remove content and, where appropriate, restrict repeat infringers.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, including information received through Google Sign-In. By using the Site you acknowledge that policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Site and request account deletion at any time by emailing pehlyparkho@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access or remove content, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, misused the Site, or created legal or security risk, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should continue (including Sections 5, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17) survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Reviews, ratings, and rankings are opinions of individual users and are not statements or advice from Pehly Parkho. We do not guarantee that reviews are accurate, complete, current, or free of fake or misleading content, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Nothing on the Site is professional, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own decisions about buying from or dealing with any business.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pehly Parkho and its owner, contributors, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Site, user content, or dealings with any business or user.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of PKR 5,000 or the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pehly Parkho and its owner, contributors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting pehlyparkho@gmail.com. If it cannot be resolved, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Sindh, Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

17. General

• Changes: We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date shows the latest version, and material changes will be announced on the Site or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
• Changes to the Site: We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
• Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
• Severability and waiver: If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours in connection with a business transfer.
• Language: If this document is translated, the English version prevails.

18. Leaderboard Rewards Program

Our Monthly Top-5 Rewards Leaderboard is governed by its own additional terms. By taking part you also accept the Leaderboard Rewards Program Terms & Conditions, which set out the points system, the prize for each rank, and the Program's legal terms (including that the Program is offered at our sole discretion and may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time).
